Library of Things: Baking Items

Why spend money on an adorable novelty cake pan or custom cookie cutters you'll only use once? Check them out from the Library! Browse our selection of cake pans and cookie cutters, check one out, bake (and send us a picture!), wash thoroughly and return. It's that easy!

Baking Item Policies
Baking items may be checked out to adult or young adult library patrons for 14 days and cannot be renewed. The limit is 2 baking items per library card.
Please wash the items per the Safe Handling Instructions below before returning it to the library. A cleaning fee of $2 per item will be charged for any baking items returned dirty.
Replacement fees for lost or damaged items will be based on the current price of a new replacement pan or cookie cutter.
These items are not available via Inter-library loan.
Safe Handling Instructions
Before and after usage, hand wash the items in warm, soapy water and dry thoroughly. Many of our baking items are dishwasher safe, but not all. Play it safe - hand wash thoroughly! Please do not use abrasive pads on non-stick pans.
Baking and Decorating Books
We have many books for cake and cookie recipes and decorating inspiration! Search the library catalog for Cake, Cookie, or Baking or browse the shelves in the baking section. There are many websites that offer great decorating ideas and instructions, too!

If you would like to donate cake pans or other baking items, we can currently accept the following:
- Wilton or Nordic Ware brand character metal cake pans (not silicone) in excellent condition
- Plastic (not metal) cookie cutters in excellent condition
Please note donations are unconditional and may or may not be added to the collection. Items not added to the collection will be donated to a local charity.
